Maurizio Savini is an Italian artist based in Rome that has made himself known for creating sculptures made from chewing gum and fibreglass. His inventive and inspiring creations are made by chewing hundreds of pieces of pink chewing gum and cutting them with a knife or using traditional sculpting techniques to shape the gum. The material reminds him of his childhood, provoking those tastes and colours from the past.
